Greetings,

We are having trouble printing to a network printer and are very confused
as to what is causing the problem.

Here's the console message...

Output Spooler, Ldev49, cannot communicate with network printer.
Check Network Xport Config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links
started status, intermediate network, and printer status.

Native Mode Spooler Message 9662

The network is up, users are logged on.  NPCONFIG hasn't changed since
a few weeks ago, the printer status is good.

How do we check "xport and links started status", and what is the
"intermediate network"?

It looks like the HP3000 isn't initiating communications to the printer,
because it doesn't show up in the firewall log as ever touching the
firewall.

Any clues???
