All,

G.R. Helm, Inc. is pleased to announce that Time Shift 2000 production
versions are now available for demonstration and release!!

G.R. Helm, Inc. specializes in Year 2000 services and the HP 3000. We
provide outsourcing services using in-house systems including our HP3000
system and a standardized approach to software Year 2000 compliance
practices. GRHI has developed, and continues to develop, tools to assist in
the analysis and testing phases of these projects for clients using HP 3000
computer systems.

Time Shift 2000(tm) is one of the first tools developed by G.R. Helm, Inc.
to assist our HP3000 clients with their Year 2000 compliance efforts.. It
will both 'analyze' and 'age' date data fields in an IMAGE database. This
software has been designed to automatically find and examine all date fields
contained in all databases, with no user input or directions. (However,
user inputs can be used to refine the search process.) The software
determines the date format and the range of date values contained within
each data set's date field. It also reports the number of records found for
each year encountered, the number of any unknown date values and the
location of the date field within the field (when date fields are
concatenated within other fields).

Time Shift 2000(tm)'s 'aging' feature allows the user to increment any of
the IMAGE date fields by some number of years (positive or negative). TS2000
process dates by their IMAGE field names but also allows the user to exclude
fields from particular sets. Therefore, if field 'MISC-HOLD' contains a
date in one data set, but not in another, TS2000 can be directed to only
update the field in the data set containing the date values. This aging
process becomes very useful in testing to verify processing results that
should not be affected by time changes. (In other words, the results of a
baseline test using today's date and data should match the results of a test
with the data 'aged' forward by some number of years - assuming day of week
and leap year validations are not performed - and the system clock set
forward by this same number of years.) This type of age testing can be
performed incrementally until all the data has been aged into the 21st
century to verify the functionality of applications as they encounter year
2000 dates.

This software is prices on a system tier level and starts at $999/license.
