If you are [slightly] brave, you could always replace the fans
yourself. There's an entire industry for selling quiet cooling to
solutions to do-it-yourself PC'ers. The fan sizes are pretty standard
these days: 60mm, 80mm, 90mm, 120mm. I would think the fans in your
A-class are one of those sizes. Fans only run $5 - $20 dollars,
depending on size, airflow, and noise.
I'm sure HP support would not be completely happy for you to do this,
but if you are on third-party support, you might be able to get a
waiver from them.
