To all of you who responded about this, THANK YOU! We rebooted our system
on Monday night and we have had perfect, unattended backups for the last two
nights in a row, with both of our DLT tape drives autoreplying contentedly.

Subject: autoreply for more than 1 tape drive
Another question about this topic:
If I have multiple tape drives, and I wish to enable them for autoreply, do
I need to issue the "HOLD" command between each "MDEV" statement? Or is a
single "HOLD" command sufficient *after* the MDEV statements?
Thanks.
