Tom,

Please post the output of 'ipconfig/all' from one of your PCs, assuming
that they're running Windows 98SE, Windows 98ME, or Windows NT/2000/XP.

It should look something like this

   C:\>ipconfig/all | more
   Windows 98 IP Configuration

        Host Name . . . . . . . . . : d700.houston.rr.com
        DNS Servers . . . . . . . . : 24.28.99.62

                                      24.93.35.33
        Node Type . . . . . . . . . : Broadcast
        NetBIOS Scope ID. . . . . . :
        IP Routing Enabled. . . . . : No
        WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . : No
NetBIOS Resolution Uses DNS : Yes

   2 Ethernet adapter :

        Description . . . . . . . . : Realtek RTL8029(AS) Ethernet Adapt
        Physical Address. . . . . . : 00-00-E8-88-C7-68
        DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
        IP Address. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.90
        Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0

        Primary WINS Server . . . . :
        Secondary WINS Server . . . :
        Lease Obtained. . . . . . . :

   C:\>

Note that the default gateway is the IP address of my Linksys router:

        Default Gateway . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

On the LAN side my PCs, my VAXStation, and my router are all using
255.255.255.0 for their subnet mask. The PCs and the VAXStation are
using 192.168.1.1 as their default gateway.

The only protocol enabled on my PCs is TCP/IP.
