>Subject: [HP3000-L] Two unrelated HP3000 questions - JBDC and FTP
>
>1. What is a good web document to review for a non-java savvy person
>(me) to get a sound overview of how one employs JBDC on the HP-3000?

The MiniSoft JDBC driver supports connection from the HP3000 to itself or
another HP3000 using JDBC calls. We also allow the same applications,
servlets, and applets running on most platforms to connect to the HP3000.
Our web site (http://www.minisoft.com/pages/middleware/jdbc/jdbc.html)
provides samples, a manual, and you can download a trial copy.

>remote site as the ftp server. What is the current state-of-the-art

The changes currently being made to Minisoft's NFT will permit system to
system copies of MPE files retaining the MPE specific information.
