Well it looks like I get to answer my own message :)
 
After a bit of digging around, it appears that although our programming
department requested DataExpress/ODBCLink, the order went out from our
purchasing department for DataExpress *only*. We did get ODBCLink shipped
overnight and so far it looks like a killer product... apologies to MB Foster...
 
We will be doing performance evaluations over the next couple of weeks and
will let people know anything interesting that we find. Note that we are not
really going to be using the DataExpress portion of the product at all
(yet)... it will be entirely ODBCLink.
