 Hi there.
The Laserjet 5 series is a little different from the previous models. I
think the reason is 'easying' the connection to all the PC' out there. What
i mean is that previous models require a straight-thru cable for the HP3000
serial connection, and a 'Printer cable' for connection to PC's. The new
models are quite opposite, meaning that when connecting to a PC, you need a
'straight-thru' cable while connecting to HP3000 you now need a
'printer-cable. I am sure you can get a 'PC-printing cable ' in allmost
every PC-shop.
