Larry -
Many times we want to locate source or data that contains one or more
strings. Locating the source or data to be analyzed or modified is one of
the most common and tedious tasks of a programmer/analyst. I have a
solution. What follows is a:

**************** Not so Subtle Commercial Announcement ********************

I have developed a program called DISCOVER/3000 that can scan an entire
account or even the entire disc directory for up to 64 search strings at a
time. You can also specify up to 64 excluded strings. The located records
may be displayed and/or extracted to a flat file.

DISCOVER/3000 also lets you compare the directories of two groups,
pattern match data in MPE files and IMAGE sets, locate dates in numerous
formats and types, convert dates in MPE files, and examine and extract data
from MPE files and IMAGE sets.

DISCOVER/3000 also has a powerful LIST FILE function that allows you to
select by file code, print the first or last nnn records of a set of files,
and create a space or comma delimted file of the directory for export to a
PC.

Check out DISCOVER/3000 at http://www.idswest.com for more details,
prices, and to request a free 30 day evaluation. Thank you.
