If you have an ISDN router as I do, it means that the router will never
disconnect (unless you build a filter for it). This is a serious
consideration in the UK where the call costs around 7¢ a minute! There is
also an irritating default in Windows causing it to do a DNS lookup every
five minutes or so. I know how to disable this in the registry, but it
somehow keeps coming back. God (AKA Bill Gates) only knows why.
