Hello List Members,

Since Bill Bennett of CSY posted the message about their console setup
through the LAN, I was interested in doing the same. So I checked out
the IOLAN from CHASE and bought one.

I connected it to the remote port of our 957. Now from anywhere, I can
telnet in and get remote console. So now I no longer need a dedicated
modem to dial in from home. I can access our vpn over the internet, get
the remote console and reboot the system if needed.

I just wanted to report on how well it works and it does work great. I'm
now going to connect my crash and burn 932 to the iolan box too.
