Christian, a lot of people are ignorant with history - did you know that
during one WW 1 battle, the Somme, in one day 20,000 British soldiers were
killed. I believe that same day 50,000 soldiers of all the armies killed.

One day.

I had a great uncle, Peter Zouch (name old Norman name) who was killed a few
days before armistice - shot by a sniper.

I am told that he used to write letters talking of the filth and the rats in
the trenches.
