Subject: RE: Speedware v5 on MP/iX 7.0

I am running 7.0 Ex 1 on my 928LX and Speedware version 7. I would be glad
to test a sample design for your customer if they can supply the version 5
Reactor files that will run on my system.

Subject: Speedware v5 on MP/iX 7.0

Good morning,

I have a customer looking to purchase a new system running 7.0. His
biggest concern is that his Speedware v5 reports might not be compatible
with MPE/iX 7.0.

He has contacted Speedware and was told that they have not tested that
version on MPE/iX 7.0, thus not supporting it. My customer does not have the
resources to migrate his code to the latest verion of Speedware at this
time.

Is anyone running older versions of Speedware on MPE/iX 7.0?

Also, my customer has been told by someone that there is a way to run older
Speedware reports from a current version of Speedware. Anyone know anything
about this and how to do it?

I hope this makes sense. I myself have never coded Speedware, only Cognos.

Thank you.
