O.K., Sports Fans:

I have an update from what I posted earlier today:

After above I put in a call to HP RC.  They just called me back.
RC answer:  They just talked to "software distribution people",
and were told "we have plenty 6.5 EXP2" (note my earlier
mistake in calling it just PP2:  It *does* include PP2, but there
is also a subsys tape, which makes it an EXPRESS release
(but let's not go there again right now;  more pressing things
to attend to) ).

Just now I got my HP Government Business Center software
coordinator on the line again (live person).  I told her what RC
said.  She said the "temporarily out of stock" answer she gave
me earlier also came from the "software distribution people".

I gave Rockville my RC call ID number;  suggested maybe they
introduce themselves.  HP is now talking to HP;  should have
the "final answer" soon....   stay tuned.....
