Joe,

The bottom line on the deafening quiet is that a chapter 11 is a
reorganization. The bored members may not be permitted to make comment,
even to members.

And if chapter 11 or 13 are being considered as options, then that would
entail having an official statement of the health of Interex. An
incorrect statement at
this point could do huge damage.

I know that Interex was struggling with it's place in the world 10 years
ago when I was a volunteer. And as far as old fashioned User Group
Meets, they were falling out of favor even then. The personal disputes
and ability to get information elsewhere where issues. I can only
imagine that these same issues have managed to grow over the years.
Combine that with the HP3000 getting the axe, declining attendance and
non-support from HP, and you have a pretty hard picture.

I think in polling for information, the board is good place to look. It
is probably unfair to state that they are being deliberately quiet,
except to say that they are bound (legally and ethically) to be quiet
until there is an official release.
