The U.S. Geological Survey ( http://www.usgs.gov/ ) has been working on a web accessible flood plain map project.

Your (county|township) should have flood plain information.

Your homeowners insurance agent will certainly be able to get to this information.

A search of the web might be of help. I recommend using the engine from http://www.copernic.com/ as a pretty thorough one.

as it is now. Does anyone know where I can find information on flooding
potential, etc. to present to management about the dangers of a grade level
data center?
