It was the end of the week, and I was (Noticeably) not happy about FTP
performance. Thanks (3000-L) for the pointers. I think I need to look
closer at the M.P.E. Network config.
To answer some questions posted back. We are running M.P.E. version:
C.60.00 M.P.E./iX HP31900 C.16.01, the user version still says:
C.55.07
We do have 100mb NIC, manually set to Full Duplex, and the files to be
transferred are FIXED ASCII:
ACCOUNT= TAXES GROUP= SPRING2K
FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----

I didn't include the complete FTP output in my original post because
the FTP never completed. Friday afternoon I let it run, and it finished
five hours later.

M.P.E. BATCHJOB, transfer from M.P.E. to WIN_NT. If I transfer from
WIN_NT TO WIN_NT no problem.
Anyone give a hint of a clue why M.P.E. FTP is slow.
