"Why does anyone believe that HP will admit a mistake. I have not seen that at anytime in the last 30 years that anyone from HP admits they made a mistake. They always have justification and rationalizations for their decisions whether they make any sense or not.
Personally, I think it is a good day if I make only 2 or 3 mistakes. I readily admit to them and apologize. My philosophy is simple: Set the standard, improve each day, and have fun. Your mistakes are where you typically make your improvements.
So to request that HP admit to a mistake is unrealistic."

In 1972(?), HP realized the first 3000s were not up to acceptable quality standards and replaced them for all customers who wanted a replacement.

In 1987 or 1988, the few customers who had ordered the 930 series had them replaced with more expensive 950 series since it was decided that the 930 series was not an acceptable solution.

How many more do you want to see, since you stated that you have seen NONE??? It sounds like someone has a hidden agenda.
