Anyone 3K boosters out there looking for a spiritual lift might be
interested in reading the COVER STORY in the August Datamation.
The story is about how an HP3000 and it's staff were saved from
"execution" by implementing an "OLAP" solution based upon
BusinessObjects technology. This leading-edge system was built using
"an HP3000 with Windows NT servers on the back end running an
Oracle Database". Now if we could just get my old buddy Michel
Kohon to resurrect his "MIRAGE" product (IMAGE for PCs), then they
could dispense with Oracle and really go first class ...............
