Speedware Announces Strategic Partnership with Cognos
Partnership to Drive New Opportunities
Montreal, Quebec - (November 30, 2006) -- Speedware, a division of Activant
Solutions Inc., and a leading provider of innovative enterprise software
solutions and productivity tools, announced today a new strategic partnership
with Cognos, the world leader in business intelligence and performance
management solutions. Speedware offers migration and legacy modernization
solutions as well as application support to Cognos PowerHouse customers.
Cognos PowerHouse is an application development solution used by
organizations to develop business applications. Under the terms of the
partnership, Speedware will become a Preferred Service Solution Provider for
users of this Cognos solution. The partnership will cover marketing, sales,
support and joint development efforts to support automated migrations. For
customers looking to modernize their legacy applications, Speedware will
provide enhanced support offerings as well as all-encompassing solutions that
address data and databases, operating systems and third-party technologies.
