It took a couple hours for my foggy old neurons to pop up an
addendum to the above:  I believe that not only must each
disc in a mirror pair be connected to a separate SCSI port,
one of those ports CANNOT be a SCSI port on the MFIO card;
i.e.:  mirror discs must be connected to identical add-on SCSI
I/F cards in the SPU card cage....
