me three, via MSOutlook, which I believe is NOT causing the problem.  The "
=" appears at the end of each line and is inserted before our MSO server
gets hold of the text (it further splits lines that appear to have already
been split, giving me stuff like this, an exact copy of a reply to Wyell's
note eary today:

Sorry to "point fingers", Wyell, you just happen to be the only source of
such goodies today; other posters have managed fancy stuff like " =20" and
I've heard that I can generate even gnarlier stuff than that by sending
'rich text' to non-rich-text recipients.  So this begs the questions...

What email client do you use?

Any special settings?

...which are probably the wrong questions, but maybe that's a start?
