Same thing happens here on my 5.5 machine.

I suspect the help text for :restore is overflowing the temporary file created
by :help because the number of lines listed in the paged output is a suspicious
1023.  The :help command needs to use a higher non-default record limit for
its temp file.

You can also compare what's printed out by :help to what's in the Commands
manual, and you will see that the info is being truncated.
