To resolve my "deadly embrace" problem, I used dbutil to id the
locked database (because I'm running mfg, omar and history, we had
to id who was actually locked first).

I ran dbutil, then used then:

  >> show findb locks
  >> show hisdb locks

until I id'd what was actually locked. Once I had id' the locked
database, I chgroup'd to the respective database group and used
UNDEDLOK.PRVXL.TELESUP, to identify the pin processes that had
the db locked. undedlok then gives you the pins that own lock
processes, and then prompts you for the pin to unlock. I continued
to repeat the undedlok until I had all of the processes unlocked.

I'm probably not explaining this clearly, but if you are interested,
I have a text-file of all of my steps through this process and I
can e-mail it to you. Let me know
