MiniSoft is pleased to announce that Javelin now supports Macintosh and UNIX
desktops.

</PLUG>

Javelin is a new class of Java "thin-client" connectivity tool that delivers
legacy host information to the desktop via the point-and-click interface of
Internet browsers such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
In just a 90K Java applet, Javelin provides precise emulation of HP2392A and
HP700/9X terminals allowing for quick and reliable connectivity to HP3000,
or UNIX host applications.

 How Javelin Works

When a user clicks on the appropriate word or icon on a Web page, a
Javelin Java applet is automatically downloaded, and the user is presented
with a familiar terminal screen right from within their browser. Unlike
other Web-to-host products, Javelin is a "thin client". Javelin usually
downloads and connects in a matter of a few seconds. Other "fat" clients can
take several minutes or even hours to download.

Javelin uses a Java applet to support any HP or UNIX legacy application
requiring HP2392A or HP700/92 terminal emulation. Javelin applets reside on
any Java-compliant web server (Javelin has been tested successfully with NT,
Novell, UNIX and HP3000 web servers.). The applet is delivered and executed
on demand by the Java-compatible browser at runtime. The application's forms
display on the browser's user interface, and Javelin maintains the
application's designated screen attributes, rows, and columns. Because the
appropriate Java applet is downloaded automatically at runtime, no
corresponding software is required on the client workstation.

In addition to Macintosh and UNIX platforms, Javelin will also operate on
any Windows desktop giving users a universal terminal interface across ALL
computer platforms.

For more information or to try Javelin on-line come visit the MiniSoft web
site (www.minisoft.com).
