trying ksam purge won't hurt...but i doubt it will work.  same for the
restore/purge thing.

no one has mentioned using 'rm' -- you can try it...can't hurt.

given that the file code is zero and yet the system thinks it's a priv
file and kim thinks it's a ksam file -- i think running 'fscheck' would
be advisable.

fscheck can be safely run with users on the system AS LONG AS YOU MAKE
NO CHANGES.  if fscheck does find trouble, i'd advise rebooting the
system and bring it up with 'nosysstart logon=manager.sys' (twill keep
the box quiet and get you logged on correctly) and then run fscheck to
make the needed repairs.       - d
