While on the subject of sockets...

I finally have found the time to put a few socket related example
programs on my web page at Michael Gueterman's site. Nothing fancy,
just what I used to get started with Berkeley Sockets and NetIPC.

One example is C using Berkeley Sockets, the other is COBOL using
NetIPC. And a third is a small C program to be launched by INETD.

Looking back, I must still say that Java seems much more convenient
for network programming (just compare the Java example on the site).
