Hello Michael Anderson & all @ 3000-l,
RE: Slow FTP

There are many variables in the performance of a data transfer over a network link... and the information you provided did not include the statistic output which FTP/iX generates at the completion of a file transfer.

226 Transfer complete.

1127456 bytes sent in 0.66 seconds (1678.40 Kbytes/sec)

With out this information you really can't tell if the transfer was fast or slow. It would also be useful to identify what type the source file on the MPE system is ":listf,2".

James Hofmeister
