I have a printed copy of an old HP document titled High Availablity Disk
Array Users Guide, part no. A3232-90001, edition E1299. Unfortunately, i
don't have the electronic version. IIRC, it is a PDF on the hp docs site,
but i seem to recall that you can't find it by the part number, you have to
search by subject.
Althogh the info is has not been updated in quite some time, it does give
some detail about the use of the Mod 20 on a HP3000.
We have mod 20's installed at three of our customrs mfg plants. We did not
use write cache, but i don't recall if that is because it doesn't work or
we were concerned about the interaction of the XM software cacheing and the
Mod 20 hardware cacheing.
