Hello

I'm a newbie to the e3000. I'd like to learn more about this amazing little
machine. I got the Sys Admin
book from Prentice Hall, and it's a great book to get me started. I'm
looking for some other references
that I can go further, preferably online, but getting one more book is not
out of the question.

When I first started working with this computer, I sorely underestimated it.
In the last couple months,
I've really gotten to like the little bugger. It's stable and gets it's work
done. What more can you
ask for??

Thanks,
Paul

Beechglen is so much more than HP Support, probably because the "HP"
HP3000 division doesn't do the support. I don't know when this was taken
away from the HP3000 group, or why, but I noticed HP3000 Software &
Hardware support begin to slip in the early 90's.

Beechglen on the other-hand knows what a HP3000 is, and they support
the complete software platform, I mean applications running on your
system, no finger pointing. They take a responsible point of view when
they support your system. They have 4gl, 3gl experts, system config
experts, networking experts, and most importantly M.P.E. experts. From
the low level bites-n-bytes of hardware configuration all the way upto
the front-end of your applications, they do it all.

BTW: they charge about half of what HP does, for 10 times the support.

I am currently looking at two 3rd party support vendors, Black
River/Beechglen and ATS, for my 3000.

Does anyone have any accolades or horror stories to pass on? I would
appreciate any information you have about either company.

Thanks.
