Hi Terry,

We implemented JD Edwards at a client site, they migrated from GrowthPower.
What version of JD Edwards are they being shown, provided etc. We
implemented E1 if I remember correctly. I am not working on the project,
but one of our employees is. Are there any specific things they would like
to review? We could setup a conference call to have your old boss do a
review with our consultant for a while, he has become a real expert in the
time he has been there. If you are looking for a general how did it go,
successes, problems etc. I can ask him to write a quick paragraph and
forward to the group.

We do not have anyone with firsthand experience with Peoplesoft

Regards
Steve

I got the following request from an old boss who is a very good friend.
I have no experience with either of these systems. Anyone in a position
to comment based on personal experience?
If so, would you be willing to get a call with some questions?

I am on a quest to learn as much crap as I can get on the above software
packages. They are being rammed down the throat of the company I am
consulting for by their Corporate entities. I have looked briefly at
what has been provided and I see a table driven package that appears to
be complex and 20+ years outdated technologically. It would appear to
require a number of Data Base Administrators and isn't user friendly.

If any of you have any knowledge or information on this, positive,
negative or informational, I would sure appreciate some feedback as soon
as you can.
