To All,
Craig asks a very important question. I believe that HP has expended a
lot of resources
into the Itanium chip for HP-UX, Linux, and Windows. So there is a lot at
stake for HP-UX.
Will it survive as long as MPE/iX, who knows. Only time and Carly can
answer that
question. In my opinion, HP-UX is entrenched in more business than MPE,
so my own guess
is HP-UX will survive on some platform...

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] Intel flushes Itanium
More importantly, what does this say about HP-UX?
Will HP-UX be an OS without a computer to run on?
