I can tell you this the 256x line of printers are old workhorses and their
are those that love em or hate em... I had 2563 and a 2567 they were great
for their time.... They are off the maintenance list a while now... So if
you are looking at printers and have to look at impact printers I believe
you are looking at the right ones....

But why go impact if you can go laser so much cheaper.... I replaced my 2563
with a 5si and the large cap tray for less than a quarter of what it was
going to cost to replace the line printer.... I designed everything from
that point on with the laser in mind....

Subject: 2564C and 33422C Printers

Hello List,

Does anyone know the difference between the 2564C 840lpm Dot Matrix Printer
and a 33422C Dot Matrix Printer? I was told the 33422C is newer and took or
is taking the place of the 2564C. I was also told the 33422C is upgradeable
to 1200lpm. Has anyone ever heard of the 33422C? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,
