I've been asked to recommend a machine and a database to someone for the
intent of running it as a WEB server and a database.  Th DB needs the
capability to hold images as well as text.

They are currently running an HP9K with HP-UX v9.x.  The solicitor has an
open mind.

Here is a perfect opportunity to reverse a trend.  Can the HP3K do the
job?  Can Image?  If so, what software would I recommend?  Apache?

Any thoughts?

Any quotes of philosophical arguments?
