Does anybody recall where freevt3k source can be picked up?
I'm pretty sure that it is written in C, but if (parts of) it
could be ported to Java, it might make a nice add'l module for
the Java Telnet app(let), which currently only offering VT320
emulation (and telnet client functionality)...

I still feel strong sympathy for GPL'ed Open Source software.

The Java Telnet app(let) seems to work quite ok as long as one
stays in character mode (or uses the Shell and Utils with an
appropriate TERM variable set). But also having HP emulation
would be a big plus... at least for non-Windows platforms where
QCTerm is not an option.
