I'm not sure the HPTYPEAHEAD var has any thing to do with this error.  It is VPlus related.  We been getting this error for quite awhile (ie 2 plus years).  We have found that when we migrated from a 947 to 967 is whn the error started.  Now that we have again migrated, this time to a 969-200 the occurances have increased.  We DO NOT have typeahaead on.  WRQ has told us to bring all our PC to the same release level then they would be able to assist in the isolation of the problem.  We haven't done that and I won't waste the band width explaining our IS department.  This isn't an answer but your not aloan on this problem.
