Yes, revising my numbers above:

   100 runs of a simple program ("begin/end."):

                     CPU  LOAD's CPU  Total CPU    elapsed
   not ALLOCATED    3282        1740       5022       9705
   ALLOCATED        3342           0       3342       7733

(all times in milliseconds, HP 3000/968, MPE/iX 6.0, timing of:
command ("run p.pub"))

I used SHOT's "PIN 2" command, which made directly reported the DELTA CPU
(CPU used between two snapshots).
