I don't know if someone already answered your question, BUT...

You can find very good default environment files in the HPENV.SYS group.
They all begin with "PCL".

PCLELITE = 80-column portrait
PCLLP = 132-column landscape
PCLEITD and PCLLPD are duplex versions of the above.

I've never tried the PCLPOST so I can't say what it does, but a
reasonable -- and therefore probably completely incorrect -- assumption
would be 80-column portrait output to postscript printers from a PCL source.

Hope it helps!

Curtis

I am converting my direct connect printers to LAN printers. I am getting
them to work, but I need to have an Environment file to get the format
right. In my last job I took some time and built them. ( like a fool I did
not keep a set). I have a building full of angry people and need to get the
printers up. Is there a place I can down-load standard formats, I need 81/2
X 11 Landscape and portrait plus the same with duplexing turned on. For
laser jet 4si & 5si.
