I've been using whisper to edit Pascal, Perl, Java and C and have found it
very useful. It really makes organizing and searching  files a snap. One
feature that I only found out about a few months ago is that whisper
includes a server that can run under NT or windows. What this means is that
you can run the server on the same pc on which you are doing your editing.
This lets organize your pc based source into projects.
