I just received a newsletter from the NorthEast Ohio Regional User
Group (NEORUG) of which I (my company) am a member. NEORUG has been
around for 20 years, one of the more successful RUG's in the country.
The current president, Jim Weiss, has accepted a position on Interex's
Strategic Partnership Committee and is resigning. I thought you might
like to hear some of his parting remarks:
". . .the purpose of NEORUG has changed. No longer do we hang on
every word of the guy who wrote HP3000 Editor, or scramble to hear
Bob Green and his performance tips. The computing world has changed,
as it should, and NEORUG must reflect its changes. Most of us know
all we want to know about the 3000, and that's why NEORUG has been
focusing on other topics for the past few years."
Hmmmmm. I amy have to write a personal letter to Mr. Weiss and
rebut some of his statements.
