I do not want to cause panic among us, I just would like to point out
that we "All" need to keep watching and be alert. I would not be surprise
at all if next time these radical extremists try to do their act, an
airplane is not involved at all.
That's the way guerillas forces attack and surprise is a key element to get
the objective.

And that operation was illegal under FAR 91.211 unless the pilot was on
oxygen and all passengers were provided with supplemental oxygen as well.
If we're worrying about the ability of a hijacker to function at high
altitudes, I would point out that the average altitude of Afghanistan is
about 6,000 feet or so :-)
