Larry,

Yes --- <plug> this is what CSI does! </plug>

You will, however, need an ODBC32 driver from one of the third parties
(HP's has not been released yet), Internet Information Server for NT, and
knowledge on idc and htx files for use with IIS and ISAPI.

Basically, NT acts as your web server and receives requests from the
browser. The server takes the data from the form on the web page and
invokes the appropriate idc (internet database connector) file, and using
ODBC32, makes the connection to the 3000 and issues the SQL command. When
the results are returned, they are formatted into the htx (an html file
with variable placeholders for the column data) and returned to the
client.

It's a nice way to do it --- it's fast as well as adding a layer of
security since it's the NT Server that accesses the 3000, and *not* the
browser.
