Yippee! 'childlike innocent little questions' is what I do best ;-)

I heard a while ago (I forget from who) that Oracle actually runs better
errrrr, ummmmm, less poorly on an HP3000 than it does on a unix system
because an MPE system 'can be performance tuned deeper into the operating
system' than unix can.

Is this true?.. does it make any sense at all??
