Hello Folks @ 3000-l,

RE: 100Base-T on MPE 6.0?

--------------------------------------------------
I also see two 100Base-T PB cards out there..
A3495A and A5488A, can someone tell me what the
difference is?
--------------------------------------------------

The A5488A card is supported on MPE HP-e3K
systems. This h/w card is labeled A3495-60001 or
A3495-60301 on the front/face.

The A3495A card is/was supported on HP-UX HP-9000
K and T-Class systems and "AFAIK" is discontinued.

Install of the A5488A hardware card on MPE HP-e3K
systems requires installing the purchased software
100BT subsystem and on MPE/iX 6.0 this "must"
immediately be followed by an installation of the
MPE/iX 6.0 Power Patch "Express Release" 2 tapes.
