Two things...
 
1) Why not set up a DTC port for the printer? The 3k knows how
   to handle 2934's pretty well.
2) The problem with windows is the lack of a decent driver for the
   2934. There was one for old Win3.0 but it was crude and is
   pretty much useless for Win3.1. You could try the "generic"
   printer driver, but you'll find it lacking in awareness of
   the escape codes and other special features of the 2934.
3) You might have to make some change in your "slave" setup
   and close to ensure that windows is aware thet you intend to
   close the print file, or you may have to close it manually.
