Hi Tom :)
    well... PGE (local electric utility) has made great inroads on getting
us customers to switch to Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL)  to save
energy... but the down side is that DEQ is not worried about what we are
going to do about the mercury in 3-5 million of these CFL in 3-5 years when
they start dying...

    Also, I remember somewhere something about the interior coating on some
bulbs being considered HazMat???
