Hi Donna (or donna ?)
Since (from what I can see) no one else volunteered any responses, let me
throw in my 2 cents (yes, the euro is also divided in 100 cents)
Re: question 1, sorry, I don't have such a script. I've read stuff in the
past about version-control software, but I don't know if anything of that
flavor applies to MPE scripts.
Re: question 2, I once used a way to circumvent the hurdle of tapping
directly into the web console by using a software product called sniffer.
From what I could see, it works by monitoring various IP addresses (thus
making it possible to identify the web console without any doubt). Then you
can select various TCP ports, and, finally, filter out a few things to keep
just the ACSII content of IP frames. I used it a few months back to
troubleshoot network printers. The problem I can see is that you would
probably be presented with a mass of more or less irrelevant data and have
to filter out progressively till you are left with only what you need. Not
sure where the product comes from, however. If you want, I can try and
search it for you.
Bye for now,
Christian Lheureux
