If anyone has any experience with running Progress on an
HP-UX platform, I am looking for some feedback on the
 following limitation:

If two processes attempt to read the same file directly
from disk, one process will have to wait for the other
to finish before it can begin its read, because there is
only one file handle to pass around. This essentially
equates to "single-thread" reads at the OS level.

Any info would be appreciated
