Hello. As part of our dr plan, we will need to be able to rebuild everything at a hot site in a different state from tapes our offsite tape storage vendor will keep. Sounds like we will need to have this tested by the end of the year.

Does anybody out there have an old, small, HP3000 that has scsi, so I can practice? I know there are a number of the resellers that monitor the list. I know the older units with the internal hp-ib are stacking up in the boat-anchor warehouse, I don't think one of those would do me much good though. I know this will probably be impossible to find, but just in case someone wants to toss out an older system that does have scsi, it would help me a lot to practice on a box that is of a different configuration, so I know what hoops I'm going to need to jump through. I all ready have an external haas and a few 18GB drives and a 700/92 terminal at home, I just need a system to play with everything.

Thanks.
