Here is an old war story. 8+ years ago I worked at a place that was heavy
with Powerhouse programs. Programs would back up and we would manage them
by using 'altproc' command.

Soon we started locking the system up and would need a reboot in the middle
of the afternoon at the worst time when everyone need the system. Turns out
we uncovered a bug that tied into the use of 'altproc'....

Can't recall what release of the operating system it was.... But the fix
came out of India....

The way that we addressed that problem, when we actually had a large
PowerHouse user base, was to use the 'altprog' command of LINKEDIT and
change the priority of 'quick', 'quiz', and 'qtp' to 'DS'.

The above change was 'step 2' whenever a new release of PowerHouse was
installed ('step 1' being the restoration of the files).
